What is a MagicBand?

MagicBands are secure all-in-one devices that allow you to effortlessly access the plans and vacation choices that you’ve made with My Disney Experience. MagicBands are colourful, waterproof wristbands—resembling a watch or bracelet—that you can quickly and easily touch to a sensor called a touch point

What can I use my MagicBand for?

You can use your MagicBand to:
- Enter Theme Parks and Water Parks (with valid admission)
- Check-in at FastPass+ entrances
- Connect Disney PhotoPass images to your account

Who in my party is eligible for a MagicBand?

For each 2019 Disney’s Ultimate Ticket purchased you will receive a MagicBand. Any member of your party without a ticket will not receive a MagicBand.

How do I redeem this offer?

Guests will receive an email approximately 72 hours after booking containing a unique voucher to collect their MagicBand. Guests will need to print this voucher and present it to a Cast Member at the World of Disney store in Disney Springs along with a valid photo ID to collect their MagicBands.

Where do I pick up my MagicBand?

You can pick up your MagicBand at the World of Disney store in Disney Springs.

Do I need to collect both my Park Tickets and MagicBand?

You can collect both your Park Tickets and MagicBand. However, if you collect your MagicBand and link this to your My Disney Experience account you won’t need to collect your Park Tickets, which will save you time at the gate.

When is this offer valid for?

This offer is valid for ticket-only bookings made from 3rd December 2018 – 1st April 2019 for arrivals from 1st January – 31st December 2019.

How do I link my MagicBand to My Disney Experience?

To link your MagicBand to My Disney Experience, go to and enter the unique ID number on the inside of your MagicBand strap. Once you have linked your MagicBand to My Disney Experience it’s ready to use to access the parks and redeem your FastPass+ selections.

Alternatively, you can visit Guest Relations at the Parks to link your admission to your MagicBand.

Can I use more than one MagicBand?

Yes, you can use more than one MagicBand.

Can I link more than one MagicBand per MyDisneyExperience account?

Yes, you can link multiple MagicBands to your MyDisneyExperience account.

If I’ve already booked my 2019 Disney Tickets, can I still get a MagicBand?

No. This offer is valid for new ticket-only bookings only.

If I lose my MagicBand or it is stolen, can I collect another one?

Unfortunately, we cannot replace limited edition or speciality MagicBands in the event that they are lost or stolen.

What do I do if I lose my MagicBand?

If you can access, please visit the MagicBand section of My Profile and select the MagicBand you wish to deactivate. When asked for the reason why you are deactivating, indicate that the MagicBand is lost.

Can other people use my MagicBand?

No. Your MagicBand is unique to you and only you are authorised to access the benefits associated with it. Once a MagicBand is linked to your My Disney Experience account, it cannot be transferred to another person.

When using your MagicBand, you will be required to scan a finger to enter the parks or enter a PIN code to uniquely identify yourself when making purchases. This is to ensure that you, and only you, have access to your MagicBand entitlements.

Do I have to wait to receive my MagicBand before using My Disney Experience?
