Guests roared with delight for The Lion King & Jungle Festival at Disneyland Paris. Full of fresh shows and immersive experiences, this vibrant season was the place to feel the rhythm of an all-swinging, all-dancing habitat. Of course, the likes of Timon and Pumbaa, Baloo and King Louie were there to join in the fun. Hakuna matata!
The Lion King: Rhythms of the Pride Lands
Guests growled along to this majestic stage show and lived iconic moments from The Lion King like never before. There was shaking and swaying to the sound of the beating drums of Pride Rock as Rafiki, Simba, Timon, Pumbaa, Nala, Mufasa and Scar brought the beloved music to life.
The Jungle Book Jive
You embarked on a brilliant journey through the Indian Jungle in this magical, musical extravaganza. The Jungle Book came to life, as never-before-seen worlds added a wild twist to this classic Disney Tale. Guests helped explorer Mickey and his friendly crew navigate a mysterious land, before joining Baloo, King Louie and friends for a jumpin’ jungle dance-along!
Djembe Joy Village
Guests bounced to the beat as they learnt how to play the traditional African Djembe drum with the Djembe Academy and lost themselves in the joy of dance during musical moments in an African-inspired village. The King of the Swingers himself, King Louie, even made an appearance!
Timon's 'MataDance'
If you stomped across to Adventureland, you could get in line with Timon and Pumbaa to learn Timon's very own 'MataDance' - there was shimmying and shaking with some festival fun!
Disney Character Encounters
Guests could capture magical moments with famous faces from The Lion King and The Jungle Book as they walked around Disneyland Park - shaking hands with the wise Rafiki and doing the 'oobee doo' with King Louie!
Restaurant Hakuna Matata
Everyone could grab a flavour of Africa at Restaurant Hakuna Matata in Adventureland and tucked into authentic, tasty platters and fresh, Simba-themed ice cream. Rafiki and Mickey even popped along to say hello, too!
