What is a MagicBand?

MagicBands are secure all-in-one devices that allow you to effortlessly access the plans and vacation choices that you’ve made with My Disney Experience. MagicBands are colourful, waterproof wristbands—resembling a watch or bracelet—that you can quickly and easily touch to a sensor called a touch point.


Who in my party is eligible for a MagicBand?

For each ultimate ticket purchased you will receive a MagicBand. Any member of your party without a ticket will not receive a MagicBand.


How do I redeem this offer?

All package bookings will receive their documentation approximately 14 days prior to travel. This will include a unique voucher which is required for MagicBand collection. Please present your voucher to the Information Desk at World of Disney in Disney Springs along with a valid photo ID to collect your MagicBands.

For ticket-only bookings, guests will receive an email approximately 72 hours after booking containing a unique voucher to collect their MagicBand. Guests will need to print this voucher and present it to the Information Desk at World of Disney in Disney Springs along with a valid photo ID to collect your MagicBands.


Where do I pick up my MagicBand?

You can pick up your MagicBand from the Information Desk at World of Disney in Disney Springs.


When is this offer valid for?

This offer is valid for bookings made from 1st May 2018 – 31st July 2018 for arrivals from 1st May 2018 – 31st December 2018.


What can I use my MagicBand for?

If you are a Disney Resort Hotel Guest, you can use your MagicBand for:

• Unlocking the door of your Disney Resort hotel room
• Enter Theme Parks and Water Parks (with valid admission)
• Check-in at FastPass+ entrances
• Connect Disney PhotoPass images to your account
• Charge food and merchandise purchases to your Disney Resort hotel room

If you are a ticket-only Guest, you can use your MagicBand for:

• Enter Theme Parks and Water Parks (with valid admission)
• Check-in at FastPass+ entrances
• Connect Disney PhotoPass images to your account


How do I link my MagicBand to My Disney Experience?

To link your MagicBand to My Disney Experience, go to https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/en_GB/plan/ and enter the unique ID number on the inside of your MagicBand strap.

Alternatively, you can visit Guest Relations at the Parks to link your admission to your MagicBand.


Can I use more than one MagicBand?

Yes, you can use more than one MagicBand.


Can I link more than one MagicBand per My Disney Experience account?

Yes, you can link multiple MagicBands to your My Disney Experience account.


If I’m staying at a Disney Resort Hotel, will I receive my exclusive MagicBand at check-in?

No. If you are a Disney Resort Hotel Guest, you will receive your standard MagicBands upon check-in at your Hotel. If you would like to also collect your exclusive MagicBand, you will need to visit World of Disney in Disney Springs.


If I’ve already booked my 2018 holiday, can I still get a MagicBand?

No. This offer is valid for new bookings only.


I’m going to Walt Disney World in 2019, why can’t I get an exclusive MagicBand?

The MagicBand offer is valid for 2018 arrivals only.


If I lose my MagicBand or it is stolen, can I collect another one?

Unfortunately, we cannot replace limited edition or speciality MagicBands in the event that they are lost or stolen.


What do I do if I lose my MagicBand?

If you can access Disneyworld.com, please visit the MagicBand section of My Profile and select the MagicBand you wish to deactivate. When asked for the reason why you are deactivating, indicate that the MagicBand is lost.


Can other people use my MagicBand?

No. Your MagicBand is unique to you and only you are authorised to access the benefits associated with it. Once a MagicBand is linked to your My Disney Experience account, it cannot be transferred to another person.

When using your MagicBand, you will be required to scan a finger to enter the parks or enter a PIN code to uniquely identify yourself when making purchases. This is to ensure that you, and only you, have access to your MagicBand entitlements.


Do I have to wait to receive my MagicBand before using My Disney Experience?

No. You can link your booking in My Disney Experience approximately 48 hours after making your reservation. For more information on MyMagic+ please visit the link below.
